In the midst of the worst housing crisis since the Great Depression, The Maine Real Estate Network was born in 2008. We felt that there was a clear opportunity to help homebuyers and sellers in the great state of Maine navigate the growing complexity of real estate transactions during these times. We observed out-of-state real estate franchises focusing more on profit and less on the needs of homeowners and buyers alike. We felt that Maine needed a large, independent real estate agency to provide its real estate professionals with higher compensation, no fees and, most importantly, the freedom and flexibility to help people get to the closing table.
