September 2015 welcomes The Riverside Theatres 100th birthday and we are staging some fantastic events throughout September to celebrate our Centenary!

The Riverside is one of the few surviving pioneering cinemas created in the mid 1910's that were made possible by the sudden availability of electricity. YES THAT LONG AGO! The very first 'moving images' were displayed right here. We're pound of our history and believe it needs celebrating!
