Reintroducing what is probably the most iconic and most well known Impreza model (possibly even Subaru's most iconic vehicle), the 22B STi. Made to celebrate Subaru World Rally Team's success throughout the 1995 and 1997 World Rally Championship seasons, AND to celebrate the manufacturer's 40 year anniversary, you'd expect they'd develop something powerful. And they did. Packed with a turbocharged 2.2-liter, 4-cyllinder boxer engine, it produces a respectful 276 bhp which in return gives it a top speed of 248km/h and could accelerate from 0-100km/h in around 5.3s.

In comparison, it was essentially faster than most European sport cars of the time which costed much, much more. If those numbers aren't enough to make you impressed, the design of it should. Equipped with a wide-body design that is shared with the rally models made by Subaru, it should attract everyone who loves anything related to rallying. Of course however, this being, in a way, a special-edition, was limited to only 400 units for the Japanese market, and 24 to be exported. To cut to the chase, these things are now absurdly expensive as they are rare. While this may be depressing or frustrating, atleast you can now experience owning one in everyone's favorite block game, Minecraft. Yes very happy

"In 1998, Subaru of Japan produced a widebody, coupe WRX STi called the "22B STi" produced between March and August 1998. The 22B was used to commemorate both Subaru's 40th anniversary as well as the third consecutive manufacturer's title for Subaru in the FIA World Rally Championship. On the release of the sales, all 400 Japanese units sold out in from 30 minutes to 48 hours, depending on the report. Another 24 were produced for export markets—16 for the UK, along with another 5 for Australia, and 3 prototypes. The 16 cars imported to the UK were modified by Prodrive, with longer gear ratios, and UK specification lights.
