In today's date we see the people are still behaving like the way Israelites did

Who is giving the Word?

Amos 8:12 - And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

In the times of Jeremiah the Israelites did their own things in the name of the Lord and when the Lord warned them through Jeremiah, they did not want to hear him. They told him not to speak strong things but speak smooth things which do not cause them to change their way of life, their belief.

In today's date we see the people are still behaving like the way Israelites did during the time of Jeremiah. Christians today are doing their own things and they are doing them with so much devotion that even God is amazed; amazed not at their devotion but at what they are doing and believing in. He starts to wonder where and when did He give this understanding to His people. This is not with just ordinary preachers but even famous preachers like the kind which come on TV; they too are teaching things which are contrary to the Word of God. They do not go perpendicular to the Word, but instead of going with the Word their teaching slowly starts to bend
