Welcome to Satellite Director, SatFinder Sensor (Satellite Locator) is a tool to help the satellite dish.

Satellite Finder & Satellite Director selected in the list It will give you the azimuth, elevation and area calculations for your position (based on GPS) and the satellite selected in the list. The result is displayed as numerical and graphic data on Google Map. Although the installation of the satellite dish is not based on a compass, its accuracy is limited.☝ This satellite search application does, however, provide you with a high-precision instrument for creating a benchmark. and avoid a compass and the calculation of the magnetic azimuth

Point your smartphone towards the sky and observe, in augmented reality, the geostationary Satellites orbiting the earth. You have access to a list of more than 200 satellites, with a search function to make your task easier.

You can also lock a satellite of interest (available only in the PRO version): this will activate the alignment mode which will allow you to install your satellite dish easily, by following four simple steps.

How to use this app:

. First of all, you should enable GPS and Internet on your phone. Remember – in most cases it is impossible to receive GPS signal inside buildings. So if you want to get very accurate location – please go near windows or go even outside.

In current app version location should be found quite immediately. So if you stuck with ‘no location’ message please make ensure that you got enabled all required features/permissions.

. If app found your location, you must select desired satellite. To do this you must find icon with magnification glass and tap it. On the list you will find all satellites with elevation angle above zero degrees. Remember: satellite name doesn’t affect the calculation of angles. Important thing is satellite position.

. The azimuth, elevation and skew angle is calculated for your location and chosen satellite. Under calculated values there is a compass with graphical representation of azimuth angle. The azimuth angle is calculated with magnetic inclination.
