Introducing NCHPAD and the Foundation for PM&R's Rx for Exercise App: A physician’s toolkit app will provide physiatrists and other rehabilitation professionals with an user-friendly, clinically relevant tool to help prescribe exercise to their patients. The app includes appropriate exercise, fitness, adaptive sports and nutrition recommendations, links to accessible fitness facilities, and current research findings on fitness / exercise for those with disability that can be easily included with patient discharge instructions.
