Torah thoughts from Kollel Ohr Torah, the Torah study center located at Tel Hebron in Israel. The Kollel was founded following the murder of Rabbi Shlomo Ra'anan HY"D in August, 1998, by an Arab terrorist at his Tel Hebron home. Rabbi Ra'anan was the grandson of Israel's first Chief Rabbi, Rav Avraham Yitzkak HaKohen Kook zt"l.

The center is led by his son-in-law, Rabbi Yisrael Shlissel, the Rosh Kollel. Students study here for five years to obtain Rabbinic ordination by the Israeli Chief Rabbinate.
