Several authors have conducted studies and research on Hizbut Tahrir, either directly studying Hizbut Tahrir, or their studies in between their studies of the personality of its founder, Asy-Sheikh Taqiyuddin an-Nabhaniy. And as far as I know, among those who first wrote about Hizbut Tahrir was Ghozi At-Taubah in his book al-Fikru al-Islamiy al-Mu'ashir (dirasah wa taqwim), which was published in 1969 AD.

This was followed by many other writers, such as Shodiq Amin in his book ad-Dakwah al-Islamiyah (faridhoh syar'iyah wa dhoruroh basyariyah), 1978 AD, Mahmud Salim Ubaidat in his book Atsar al-Jama'at al-Islamiyah al-Maidaniy khilala al-Qarni al-'Isyrin, and also Husin Muhsin Jabir in a Thesis for a master's degree with the title ath-Thariq ila Jama'ati al-Muslimin, published by an-Nadwah al-'Alamiyah li asy-Syabab al-Islamiyah, and a book with the title al-Mausu'ah al-Muyassaroh fi al-Adyan wa al-Madahib al-Mu'ashiroh.

And in the nineties, many written works emerged about Hizbut Tahrir, including: Hizbut Tahrir al-Islamiy ('urdhun Tarikhiyun - wa dirasatun ammatun), the work of Auni Juduk al-Abidiy; al-Jama'at al-Islamiyah fi Dhou'i al-Kitab wa as-Sunnah, by Salim al-Hilaliy; and Hizbut Tahrir (munaqosyah 'ilmiyah li ahammi mabadi'i al-hizbi), by Abdurrahman Muhammad Said. It's just that most of the writers do not specifically study Hizbut Tahrir. They made Hizbut Tahrir an object of study among other objects of study. Those that specifically study Hizbut Tahrir are only the books Hizbut Tahrir al-Islamiy, and Hizbut Tahrir (munaqosyah 'ilmiyah li ahammi mabadi'i al-hizbi).

Unfortunately, most of these writers often make criticisms and criticisms that are far from the truth. Some of them rely on others in misquoting, which creates a dark image, which is far from the truth about Hizb ut-Tahrir.

However, not everything is like that, Auni Juduk, for example, tries not to do what other writers do. However, his study of Hizbut Tahrir is only limited to the historical aspects of its emergence and establishment, and ignores aspects of its spread in Islamic countries and in non-Islamic countries.

Meanwhile, his study of the tsaqofah of Hizbut Tahrir and its methods in establishing the Khilafah State is still shallow. However, it cannot be denied that the results of his study of Hizbut Tahrir were very useful for me, because it contained an introduction and comments from Asy-Sheikh DR. Abdul Aziz al-Khayyath and others.
