Street of Golden is a picture capturing HKGOLDEN users' life during Christmas, first created in 2009 by 我係西瓜刨 #247641. The reality and varieties of the actions in the picture performed by the HKGOLDEN traditional icons impacted all HKGOLDEN users.

The poison boy at the bottom right corner later became the a classic best match with Eason Chan's song - "Lonely Christmas". Every Christmas, you will find this picture in HKGOLDEN forum easily.

2010 Nov, HKG user Theo_Walcott(HKG ID:228386) created a post"【又到聖誕】有無人識整動態版高登聖誕圖?", requesting help to follow Shanghai World Expo 2010's big hit "(Animated) Along the River During the Qingming Festival" and remake an animated version of the original Street of Golden.

Users with animated GIF ability thus added various animations for different objects and characters in the picture.

HKG user 對號入座(HKG ID:203141) later created a webpage for the animated version and named it "Animated version of Golden's Street Scene at Christmas"

HKG user HKG_Sherlock(HKG ID:229020) created a screen saver based on the GIF.
