This free-to-play mobile game is the sequel to SEGA's endless runner Sonic Dash and features the cast and world of the new TV series Sonic Boom. The object of the game is to try and catch Dr Eggman while gradually unlocking Sonic's friends: Knuckles, Tails, Amy, and Sticks, a jungle badger introduced in 'Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric'.

You can try to collect as much currency as possible so you can afford all the shiny new upgrades and whatnot, or you can try to get as high a score as possible. These two things aren’t inherently mutually exclusive, and most people probably don’t even differentiate between them. It can be helpful, though, to consider which of those two goals you are aiming for on any given run. Conversely, if you are chasing high scores, banking your rings can kill a great combo. It will be completely reset once you enter, and all your hard work stringing together kills, hoops, and near-misses will be lost. Ouch! (Of course, if you are going for a high score but don’t currently have a combo running, by all means - bank the rings.)
