The reality of humans as social creatures is proven when they cannot live alone. In order to face nature and the environment, humans are required to always be friendly with other humans. The human instinct to live together with other people is called a social animal because it has the instinct to live together.
In Islam, this concept is called habl min an nas (relationship between humans) which is a dualism of ideal relationships with habl min Allah (human relationship with Allah). Development is also something that cannot be separated from human life, both individually and collectively.
For example, the difference in residence between one community and another certainly influences the problems they face. For this reason, in order to understand the phenomena that exist in the thinking of a person or group of people or religious institutions, a socio-historical approach is needed, among other things.
KH's thoughts. Hasyim Asyari regarding unity can be grouped into two types of unity, (I) national unity, which means unity based on national equality. (2) religious unity, namely unity based on the same religion, namely Islam, and (3) Unity for Madzhab.
